From St. Stephens Church
Gazebo Patio
Its a pleasent morning, October 19th, 2025. Dogs are running around for their morning jaunt. As the sun brightened the sky and the night lights were turned off the first of the scouts came to begin the installation. Over the course of a few hours many more young teenagers showed up to help in the work. They are all well behaved and eagar to get their hands dirty.
With in no time at all the scouts, with guidence of the troop leaders, had the foundation layed and the first pavers put into position. As the sun moved higher in the sky everyone was engaged and moving pavers and setting stone to earth making sure they were level and straight. Even Milo our HHSR representative got in on the action.
Cyndi and I would like to thank Sandy Naypauer and her husband for selecting our project and getting the Scouts involved in fundraising, project design, and installation. The patio will serve as a comfortable spot for potential adopters to visit all of our furbabies. It was nice to meet all of the parents who engaged in talking about rescue work and the pets that they own and have owned. These are great stories from people who really care for their pets.
